PROJECT: Langenberg Castle is located on the German-French border, directly in Alsace. The castle building as it can be seen today dates back to the 18th century. The association „Association Langenberg“ has the goal to build up a private ecological project according to the guidelines of permaculture. It is to become a cross-border and cross-generational living and working project. In addition to the planned building measures in the castle and the construction of the residential houses, an ecological campsite is to be established. Furthermore, a fruit and vegetable garden is to be established according to the PK principles, as well as work on the equestrian stable.
WORK: clay plastering, landscape maintenance, insulation work, carpentry work, general renovation work.
Special feature: this is a youth construction camp. Age of participants: from 15 to 17 years. The price per person is 180€, in case of a partner registration, of for example siblings there is the separate duo price of 130€ per person. Travel is paid by the participant. The camps are accompanied by experienced team members.
