 henfels ist ein kulturhistorisches Denkmal von nationaler Bedeutung und ei
 n bedeutender Ort für die unterfränkische Geschichte. Die am Rande des M
 ittelgebirges Spessart 1148 erbaute Burg gehört heute der „Vereinigung 
 der Freunde von Burg Rothenfels e.V.“ Diese baute das Burgensemble zur T
 agungsstätte und Jugendherberge um. Als Begegnungsstätte von Jung und Al
 t konzentriert sich die Jugendherberge und das Tagungshaus auf die Themen 
 gelebte Ökumene\, Musik\, Kultur und Wirtschaft. Nach erfolgreichen Bauca
 mps in den letzten Jahren sind 2017 die Instandsetzung einer historischen 
 Steintreppe im Barockgarten sowie Maler- und Maurerarbeiten im Außenberei

 .\nProject: The castle Rothenfels is a cultural and historical memorial of
  national importance and an important place for Lower Franconian history. 
 It is located at the edge of the low mountain range Spessart and was built
  in 1148. In 1919\, the castle was bought by the association “Vereinigun
 g der Freunde von Burg Rothenfels e.V”) and rebuilt as a conference cent
 er and youth hostel. The castle serves as a gathering place for young and 
 old and focuses mainly on the topics ecumenism\, music\, culture and econo
 mics. Following the successful construction camps in recent years\, a hist
 orical stone staircase in the baroque garden will be renovated in 2017. Fu
 rthermore\, painting works and brickwork are planned in the outdoor area.
