 „Künstlerstadt Kalbe“ will die Menschen wieder an ihr gestalterisches
  Potential erinnern. Sie verfolgt dabei ein nachhaltiges Stadt- und Region
 alentwicklungskonzept. Leerstand beseitigen\, Bleibeperspektiven eröffnen
 \, Zuzug ermöglichen und für die Menschen vor Ort die Lebensqualität ve
 rbessern. In den viereinhalb Jahren des Bestehens wurde die Künstlerstadt
  Kalbe 16-mal für ihre außergewöhnlichen Arbeiten ausgezeichnet und pr
 ämiert. Die Organisation besitzt drei Gebäude\, die alle umgebaut bzw. r
 ückgebaut werden sollen. Zum einen wird ein ehemaliger Bauernhof inmitten
  der Altstadt zu einem Wohnzentrum für StipendiatInnen umgebaut und soll 
 Platz für ca. 20 Bewohner schaffen. Daneben gibt es ein ehemaliges Gerich
 t\, das das Zentrum der Künstlerstadt werden soll. Das dritte Gebäude wi
 rd im Zuge des Baucamps abgerissen.\n\nArbeit: Trockenbau\, Malerarbeiten\

 Kalbe“ (artist town Kalbe) wants to remind people to their creative pote
 ntial. Therefore it pursues a sustainable regional developing concept\, tr
 ies to eliminate the vacancy rate\, opens up perspectives for lodging and 
 improving the quality of life. Within four years existence of the associat
 ion the artist town Kalbe has been acclaimed 16 times for their exceptiona
 l works. The organization owns three buildings which all have to be rebuil
 t. Firstly a former farm midst the old town should get renovated to establ
 ish a center of living for scholarship holders. Besides that\, a former co
 urt will be used as the center of the artist town. In the course of the wo
 rking camp the third building has to be torn down.\n\nWork: dry works\, p
