 er das Potential hat\, in die Region und die Gesellschaft hinein zu wirken
 . Einen Freiraum für vielfältige Aktivitäten. Einen Ort des Experimenti
 erens und Werbens für soziale und ökologische Zukunftsmodelle. Einen Ort
  an dem transkulturelle Begegnungen möglich gemacht werden – von Kultur
 -\, Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit zu Demokratie\, Menschenrechten\,
  Antirassismus bis hin zu solidarischer Ökonomie. Das alles soll in der 
 „Straze“ umgesetzt werden. Das Haus wird ein offener Ort für Menschen
  sein\, die sich aktiv in die Gesellschaft und die regionale Kultur einbri
 ngen wollen. In den vergangenen Jahren wurde das Haus als Theater\, Stadth
 alle\, Universitätsinstitut\, Gesellschafts- und Konzerthaus genutzt. Die
 sen Sommer helfen die Freiwilligen des IBO mit anderen helfenden Händen d
 as alte Haus zu renovieren.\n\nArbeit: Abrissarbeiten\, Gerüstbau\, Maler
 arbeiten\, Zimmermannsarbeiten\, Bodenplatten montieren.\n\n[/fruitful_tab
 ]\n[fruitful_tab title="English"]\n\nParticipants: 4 GE / 6 Int.\n\nProjec
 t: The “Kultur- und Initiativenhaus Greifswald e.V.” wants to create a
  public space with the potential to reach people in the region and have po
 sitive influence on the nature of society. A place for experimentation\, t
 o test and demonstrate the benefits of more ecological and socially inclus
 ive forms of living and working\, a space for cultural and educational act
 ivities relating to a range of issues from democracy\, human rights\, anti
 racism\, and antidiscrimination to solidarity economics. All this will be 
 implemented in the house “Straze”. Over the past years this building w
 as used as a town hall\, university institute\, concert hall and community
  center. This summer IBO will help renovate this big old house with a lot 
 of other volunteers.\n\nWork: demolition work\, painting work\, carpentry
